At the moment, they don't have a Xmas menu and are not sure they are doing something specific, but they are sending me their generic menu which is more than varied enough for most tastes. | 26/11/2011 | 1730-1930 | Multi-region Go Karting | Hi everyone In order to try and make things easier for everyone, make the event cheaper to book, plus fit better better with the changed profile of those people who wish to come, I have re-negotiated the event with Rye House to include a change in format, plus an upgrade for us. Address details for Rye House can be found here http://www.rye-house.co.uk/Contact.aspx The new details are the following... - the event will now be a head-to-head "grand-pre" format - the event will be 75 mins total track time, 15mins qualifier/warm up round plus 60mins racing - the cost will be £77 per go kart - paid individually BEFORE the 12th Nov. - if you want to have multiple people use the same kart over the 60mins racing, then that's fine So, what does this mean... - you can now pay £77 for just yourself and race as an individual - or you can pay £77 for a team and split the racing between you (so saving £77) This was the best deal I can get to make things cheaper and easier for us all. | 24/09/2011 | 0930-1500 | Bespoke Performance Open-day | I'm please to announce that the long delayed open-day at Bespoke Performance (ex-TVR Centre) is now confirmed as running on Sept 24, 2011! The details are much the same as before The open-day will run from about 0930-1500 with Martin and co. around all day. Food and drink buffet will be available most of the day - but nothing alcoholic I'm afraid for obvious reasons TVRs and other exotic marques will be available for looking at, examination, test driving etc during the day Ramps are available for putting the car up on and inspections/advice on chassis, outrigger states etc available Graeme, Steve and Mark will be available to discuss + provide advice on any upgrades, rebuilds, trimming or anything you can think of plus show examples of existing work. Details for the run-in will be arranged nearer the day. It should be a great day out to look forward to! Bespoke's new address is... It was a packed day with a busy feel. There were record numbers of classic car exhibitors and a near record number of local dealerships, many with huge hospitality trailers such as Ford, Mercedes All brought along the latest models for display. And would you believe there were record numbers of stalls especially with children in mind. The 2011 Motor Show will be once again held at St Mary’s. It opens at 11am on Sunday 11th September." | 10/09/2011 | 0930-1500 | Hilton & Moss Open-day | In September, we will be joining both the Mid-Essex and the Camb regions for a specially arranged TVRCC open-day visit to one of the main ex-TVR dealerships in the local area - Hilton and Moss (ex-Castle TVR). Whilst there, we will have an opportunity to see their new workshops, talk to their technical staff regarding those nigglely little questions, pop your car up on their ramps to have a look underneath plus grab some food amongst various other events. | 22/08/2011 | TBC | Jaguar Factory visit | To round off the season, some of us TVR enthusiasts from the South East regions are popping over to Birmingham for the day to visit the Jaguar production line to see how some of the “otherhalves” are made. The day out will include, but is not limited to… - a two hour guided tour around the Jaguar production facilities - a meal - a run-in route Details will be finalised slightly nearer the time, but anyone from the Herts & Beds, Middlesex or Bucks regions are welcome to apply. There are still a few places left, but they are going quickly. |

Duxford is located just south of Cambridge and is very easy to reach just off the M11 (a couple of minutes at most). It is held in the beautiful grounds of Kimbolton Castle in Cambridgeshire, the home of Kimbolton School. Kimbolton School This year’s Fayre has a fantastic new line up of Showring Events, Jumpin Jez Avery motor cycle stunt rider, The Sealed Knot and the usual Tea Tent, Real Ale Bar, a Swing Band and Dancers, Stalls, 800 Classic Cars, Dream Rides and many more attractions and activities for the whole family. charities.
